Static Balancing Procedures for Balanset-1A Rotor Balancing Device
Balanset-1A is a cutting-edge device designed for balancing rotors in both one and two correction planes. Balancing Process using Balanset-1A
Equipment Preparation:
1. Install vibration sensors perpendicular to the rotor’s axis of rotation.

3. Connect the sensors to the device and connect the device to a laptop via USB.
4. Launch the Balanset software and select the two-plane balancing mode.
Initial Vibration Measurement:
1. Suspend a test weight and record its weight and radius of installation.
2. Start the rotor and measure the initial vibration level to determine the imbalance amplitude and phase.
Balancing in the First Plane:
1. Place the test weight in the first balancing plane corresponding to the first sensor’s position.
2. Start the rotor to measure the vibration level. Ensure a minimum 20% change in amplitude or phase to indicate partial imbalance correction.
Balancing in the Second Plane:
1. Move the test weight to the second plane (where the second sensor is placed) and measure again.
2. These measurements help the software calculate the precise position and weight of correction weights.
Imbalance Correction:
1. Based on the data, the Balanset program suggests correction weights and their installation angles for both planes.
2. Remove the test weight, prepare the correction weights as per the program recommendations, and install them at the specified angles.
Verification and Completion:
1. Run the rotor for a final balance check. If the vibration reduces to an acceptable level, the process is complete.
2. If further correction is needed, the software guides on the additional weight and placement.
